O. KEITH EVANS, CPA

Managing Partner - Meridian Office

In 1989 Keith Evans joined REA, SHAW, GIFFIN & STUART, LLP after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1988. Keith earned his CPA designation in 1990 and was admitted as a partner in 1998. He is a partner on our audit staff and also serves a variety of corporate and individual tax clients.

Keith holds current membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), in which he has served on the Board of Governors; Beta Alpha Psi (an accounting honorary society) and Phi Kappa Tau social fraternity. He and his wife, Stacy, are actively involved in their church, Central United Methodist Church of Meridian.

Currently Keith has served as President of the Meridian Lion's Club and on the Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts. In addition to his civic and professional responsibilities, Keith enjoys hunting, fishing and playing golf.

RICHARD L. JAMES, CPA

Managing Partner - Waynesboro Office

Richard James joined REA, SHAW, GIFFIN & STUART, LLP in 1974 and was admitted as partner in 1980. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Livingston University in 1974, Richard went on to receive his CPA designation in 1976. He has been serving as Managing Partner for our Waynesboro office since 1980. He provides our clients with expertise in tax and accounting services.

Richard holds current membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). Locally he is an active member of the Waynesboro Rotary Club.

R. BENTON MOULDS, JR., CPA

Tax Partner - Meridian Office

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1982, Bent Moulds joined REA, SHAW, GIFFIN & STUART, LLP that September. Bent earned his CPA designation in 1988 and was admitted as partner in 1994. He currently serves the firm as a tax partner and small business consultant.

Bent and his wife, Karen, have two children, Katie and Jarrod. Bent and his family are active members of First Presbyterian Church in Meridian. Outside of his professional activities Bent enjoys playing a round of golf at a local country club.

He holds current membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).

W. DOUGLAS COLEMAN, CPA, CVA

Audit Partner - Meridian Office

In 2001 Douglas Coleman joined REA, SHAW, GIFFIN & STUART, LLP after four years in the Memphis office of Arthur Andersen and two years in the Memphis office of Vining Sparks. Douglas received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 1993 and a Master of Accountancy degree in 1995, both from the University of Mississippi. Douglas earned his CPA designation in 1999, his CVA designation in 2005 and was admitted as a partner in 2006.

Douglas and his wife Katie have two children, Mac and Ella. They are members of First Presbyterian Church in Meridian.

Douglas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). Douglas is a member of the Board of Directors of the Meridian Council for the Arts, a member of the Meridian Chapter of Rotary International, past co-chairman of Art for Heart and has also served on the Deaconate of First Presbyterian Church. Douglas enjoys hunting, fishing and golf.

DENA C. LAGENDIJK, CPA, CSEP

Tax Partner - Meridian Office

Dena Lagendijk joined Rea, Shaw, Giffin & Stuart, LLP in 2004 and was admitted as a partner in 2010. Dena worked in both private industry and public accounting prior to joining our firm.

Dena received a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree from Mississippi State University in 1982. She earned her CPA designation in March 1986 and a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP) designation in December 2000.

A native of Meridian, Dena and her husband, Arjen, have two children, Jennifer and Jamie. They are active members of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church in Meridian.

Dena currently holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). Dena is currently serving on the Board of Governors for the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. Dena is also an active participant in Tax Twenty, a select group of accountants from various areas of the United States who exchange information concerning tax practice and technical issues.

Dena is a lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary of Meridian, Mississippi. She formerly held the position of Financial Advisor for the Delta Lambda chapter of Delta Gamma Sorority at Mississippi State University, treasurer of the Meridian Jaycees and treasurer of the Lamar School PALS (Parent Association of Lamar School).
