Senior Audit Partner/Managing Partner - Meridian Office

Joining the firm in 1968, Charles E. "Chuck" Rea was admitted as a partner in 1974 and has been serving as managing partner since 1992. He is the senior audit partner.

Chuck received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree (with a concentration in accounting) from the University of Mississippi in 1968 and his Masters degree from the University of Alabama in 1971. He earned his CPA designation in 1972 and CVA designation in 1999.

A native of Meridian, Chuck and his wife, Bobbie, have four children, Barbara Hebert, Sara Campos, Meredith and John and two grandsons, Charlie and George Hebert. They are longstanding members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Meridian.

Chuck currently holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA); and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). He is serving as treasurer of the Mental Health Association of Lauderdale County; treasurer of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, a position he has held for 30+ years; and chairman of the Lay Education Scholarship Fund for the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi. Chuck also currently serves as Chairman of Hope Village for Children and board member of The Mississippi Wildlife Fisheries and Parks Foundation. He feels fortunate in having been given the opportunity to assist in this Area's economic growth by serving as past president and board member of the Greater Meridian Chamber of Commerce, past president and board member of the Lauderdale Economic Development Authority and past board member of the Meridian/Lauderdale County Partnership. These associations have been instrumental in promoting and maintaining outside business to Meridian and Lauderdale County.
